Neue Zuericher Zeitung

At the prominent site of NZZ's (Neue Zürcher Zeitung) headquarter, at the crest between Zurich's Bellevue and Seefeld, reams of people pass by daily. The interior lighting is visible from outside; it appears animated and appealing; and it is in constant relation to daylight. Within the immediate surroundings and its numerous display windows, the building has to make its point and at the same time stand on its own as a working space within in a pedestrian area. An important design element in the interior is the wall relief, that enhanced with light, guides and orients the visitors. It brightens and accentuates the depth of the space and makes the dimensions of the room perceptible from outside.
