Harbor, Lachen

The town of Lachen, just 20 car minutes outside Zurich, re-opened their harbour area with a new face in Summer 2007. Reflexion illuminated the dock and surrounding area to invite not only the people of Lachen to dwell. The Harbour has now become the pride of the community of Lachen. Not only does it play an emotional but also an economic and touristic role for the community. The location development and location promotion is of great concern to the district council, the industry, retail business and also the majority of the population. Lachen was able to increase the frequency of which it was visited and also activated its public life. The regeneration of the harbour was applied where an sustainable investment was most promising. The lake complex is the number one attraction.
