Castle, Leuk

A two-dimensional, uniform lighting, that gently changes its light colour, is the basic concept for the lighting of the facade of the castle Leuk. The higher light reaches the castle's facade, the colder is its colour temperature. This scheme is inspired by the reference earth-sky and refers to the snowy mountains and the decoration of a precious crown. The crown, or the upper edge of the castle, is provided with architectural jewels, as for the building of the Burgergemeinde the jutty, and for the tower the glass spire by Mario Botta. Both elements have been created subsequently and deserve a decoration.
