Restaurant Tibits, Zurich

In 1998 the brothers Reto, Christian and Daniel Frei developed and realized, to react to the grew out of the business competition, a vegetarian Take Away restaurant. Within a few years several Tibis restaurant outlets were opened. The lighting design with alternating large light volumes hanging from the ceiling at that time was new and became one of the hallmarks of tibits restaurants. While the interior is constantly changing, the lighting is fixed and adapt itself by color changing. A new branch in Basel was opened in 2007, and in 2008 in London also two Tibits restaurants were opened.
