Restaurant Tibits, Basel

The new restaurant in Basel, in Stänzlergasse 4, was build brand new this year by Diener & Diener Architekten Salpi. With more than 150 seats on two floors this is the largest of the four Tibits restaurants in Switzerland. It offers plenty of space for comfortable or quick lunch break and for cultural events and interested audience. The lighting concept is a further reflection of the illumination of the existing branches. The light object is used in all new Tibits restaurants as an identity element and as designers of atmosphere. During the day the light object luminaires absorb the daylight trough their outer layer and appear as a light and airy object that doeasn't visually take height from the ceiling. At night they become has read an object that creates an intimate space.
