Franz Carl Weber, Zurich

This traditional toy shop is located in the prestigious Bahnhofstrasse of Zurich. It is the first shopping center for children, with a total of four floors and modern infrastructure. The lighting concept was based on recessed ceiling domes with the aim to turn the height of the room behind the ceiling panels perceivable. Coloured light defines the "Smarties" as predeominant light objects in the room. They also provide a diffuse ambient lighting and are completed with playful groups of 3 directional spots.
