International atmosphere – The Circle at Zurich Airport
With “The Circle”, a new, architecturally expressive building complex that combines business and lifestyle has been created within walking distance of the terminals at Zurich Airport. A multitude of different uses extends over the entire area – from hotels and event areas to international brands, supplemented by a medical care center at the university hospital, as well as numerous attractive office spaces.
The glass skin allows a look inside and a comprehensive view outside. The alleys between the buildings are intended to recreate the Niederdorf, part of Zurich's old town, highlighted by scenic lighting. When it comes to interior lighting, the focus is on the minimalist appearance both outside and inside. This is achieved by means of recessed lighting integrated into the structure.
