Sharpness and softness – Belforterstrasse Residence, Basel
The lighting concept with round, organic luminaires brightens the sharpness of the architecture.
In the circulation areas, residents are guided through the building as if on a string of pearls thanks to the arrangement of the luminaires.
The lighting meets the high functional requirements, while at the same time contributing to pleasant living in all areas. The lighting plays with the materials used and the coloured surfaces, thus contributing to a pleasurable and warm atmosphere.
The building’s loggias – with their artistic liveliness of undulating lines in pearlescent paint on the ceilings – are illuminated by the indirect light that creates interesting visual effects and reflections.
